Transfer Out Coaching is Inside-Out Coaching for Your Wellness and Support

...SO THAT WE CAN EXPERIENCE LIFE ON LIFE'S TERMS - AND DO IT WELL

What is Coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative partnership based on the belief that the answers to our biggest challenges lie within us. While the journey can be difficult, it requires a joint effort to overcome obstacles and create lasting change. Transfer Out Coaching starts with an assessment to identify the client's most pressing concerns, and then applies proven strategies to facilitate breakthroughs. It’s a process that requires commitment and consistency.

Who Needs Coaching?
Coaching is for those who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. To make meaningful changes in life, we must begin by addressing both our thoughts and behaviors. Change is hard, but we can achieve it more effectively when we have someone with the right skills to guide us and the desire to support us in staying committed to our goals, even when we doubt ourselves.

How Does Coaching Work?
The brain is largely made up of gray matter, which is flexible and capable of learning new information. However, when we repeat behaviors, the brain forms white matter around those habits. White matter is less flexible and operates more quickly than gray matter, which is why making lasting change can be difficult. Coaching helps bridge this gap—by not only teaching new information but by applying it consistently. This process is essential to forming new patterns and achieving the results you desire.

How We Define Trauma
If the term "trauma" doesn’t resonate with you, you're not alone. Many people associate trauma with extreme experiences, such as military service or first responder work. While these individuals often experience trauma, it’s important to recognize that trauma isn’t exclusive to these groups. Trauma refers to any deeply distressing experience or period of time that causes us to return to the feelings and experiences of an event or a time of our life.
Big “T” Trauma refers to overt events like abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual), the death of a loved one, abandonment, medical trauma, and more.
Little “T” Trauma is harder to identify because it doesn’t stem from a single event, but rather from a series of unmet needs. These might include a lack of nurturing, physical or financial insecurity, or negative experiences during childhood (like poor education or negative peer pressure). These smaller but significant challenges can also have lasting effects on one's well-being.
